Compact media controls for each room

New media player controls for Iris and Kodi are visible on each room tab in HomeAssistant.

Click the song title and you get a detailed view which lets you make fine volume adjustments or play music by artist from the media server.

View the driveway camera feed from anywhere

A new Outside tab () collects everything to do with the outside including the oil levels and a live driveway camera view.

Despite having the camera available on the Barn Network for many years this is the first time it's been made available outside our network.

View and control all music players on one screen

The multizone-audio tab () has been redesigned and provides the simplest way to see what's playing anywhere in the house.

Control music players with voice commands

The Google Home in the Kitchen can control the Iris music players in all parts of the house.

You always have to tell it which Music Player.

Try:

Hey Google, pause the Kitchen Music Player

You can pause, resume, volume up, volume down, next etc.

The controllable music players are:

• Lounge Music Player
• Library Music Player
• Ballroom Music Player
• Outside Music Player

So, for example:

Hey Google, turn up the volume on the Outside Music Player

You can also control the amplifiers:
